There may be special restrictions on commodities such as pharmaceuticals, miltary equipment, and telecommunications equipment. The maximum value limit for imports into Tashkent is $50,000 USD per parcel. Keep in mind that the declared value includes total cost of commodities, and shipping charges, and insurance.

It is prohibited to import the following commodities into Uzbekistan: artifacts of cultural significance, pornography or obscene material, henna, palm trees or their products, psychotherapeutic medications, illicit narcotics, hash pipes, weapons and explosives, bearer documents, blank checks, blank credit cards, furs, and hateful propaganda. Hazardous materials and dangerous goods are prohibited, and these may include: acids, batteries, biological products, chemicals, corrosives, cosmetics, flammables, gases, ice, infectious substances, liquids, magnets, oxidizers, paints, perfume, poisons, radioactive material, or toiletries.

Parcel documents delivering to Uzbekistan

All shipments that require formal clearance must provide the following documentation: an import license, an application letter to Customs, an invoice written in Russian or Uzbek, a copy of any commercial contracts, a passport for the bank transaction, proof of payment, and a certificate of conformance issued by GOSSTANDART of the Republic of Uzbekistan. There should be one original invoice and two copies. Information on the invoice should include the cosignee's telephone number, moble number, and email address. Shipments of precious stones, precious metals, and jewelry require an import license.
